The following Privacy Policy governs your use of the vaulside.com website (“Website”) and the Vaultside Vault web-based application (“Vault”) accessed through the Website (collectively “Services”), both of which are owned and operated by Vaultside, LLC (“Vaultside”). Vaultside has adopted this Privacy Policy to inform you that it collects personally identifiable information (“PII”) when you use the Services and to explain how this PII is used. Vaultside has also adopted this Privacy Policy because it respects your privacy and believes that it should clearly and transparently disclose its privacy practices to the user. Note that this Privacy Policy applies only to information collected through the Website or the Vault, as defined above, and not to information collected offline. Vaultside MAY CHANGE, MODIFY, AMEND, SUSPEND, TERMINATE, OR REPLACE THIS PRIVACY POLICY FROM TIME TO TIME AND WITHIN ITS SOLE AND ABSOLUTE DISCRETION. IN THE EVENT VAULTSIDE CHANGES, MODIFIES, AMENDS, OR REPLACES THIS PRIVACY POLICY, THE EFFECTIVE DATE, LOCATED ABOVE, WILL CHANGE. YOUR CONTINUED USE OF THE SERVICES AFTER A CHANGE IN THE EFFECTIVE DATE OF THIS PRIVACY POLICY CONSTITUTES YOUR MANIFESTATION OF ASSENT TO THE CHANGE, MODIFICATION, AMENDMENT, OR REPLACEMENT CONTAINED WITHIN.
1. Vaultside may collect the following PII from you:
1) Any information that you submit to the Website or the Vault or similar third party websites or applications;
2) First and last name;
3) Email address;
4) Phone number;
5) Mailing address;
6) Company information;
7) Country;
8) Account holder and payment information; and
9) Other information to use the Services.
2. Vaultside may also collect the following additional information from you:
1) Your IP address;
2) Your use of the Services, including, without limitation, any links or items clicked or pages viewed and statistics;
3) Information regarding your business;
4) Information stored in cookies, pixel tags, or web beacons;
5) Analytic data from Google Analytics; and
6) Any other additional analytic data that you voluntarily submit to the Website or the Vault. Vaultside may collect this information from you through various channels, including, but not limited to, through your voluntary submission of information to the Website or the Vault, through requests initiated by you through the Website or the Vault, through communication with third parties such as banks, through the collection and analysis of information concerning your computer and browsing activities, through the use of cookies, web beacons, pixel tags, Google Analytics, and through other sources permitted by law.
3. Vaultside uses this information to:
Provide you with the Services, process any requests made by you, process any business contemplated by the Services, communicate with you, identify and fix problems with the Services, update you on changes to the Services, communicate with you concerning your account, to complete a transaction you initiated, and to update you on Vaultside’s Services or the services of third parties. Vaultside may share your PII with third parties where it has obtained your consent, whether express or implied, with third party service providers to provide you with services initiated at your request, with Vaultside"s parents, subsidiaries, successors, and assigns, and with Vaultside’s business partners who offer services through or in association with the Website. Vaultside may use your PII, including your email address, to communicate with you about the Services, your use of Services such as promotions, contests, advertising placements and/or the purchase of goods or services. Except as otherwise stated herein, Vaultside will not sell, transfer, or lease your PII to any individual, business, or government entity except to:
(1) respond to authorized information requests by government authorities;
(2) to respond to a court order or subpoena;
(3) to protect the employees, independent contractors, users, members, officers, directors, or shareholders of Vaultside; or
(4) to help prevent against fraud or the violation of any applicable law, statute, regulation, ordinance, or treaty.You are solely responsible for the protection of any information that you submit to the Website or the Vault, and you are advised to review that information before you submit it to the Website or the Vault.
4. Vaultside stores your PII in the following manner:
Your PII is stored and processed on computers and servers located in the United States and, through your use of the Services, you unequivocally consent to the processing and storage of your PII. You understand and agree that Vaultside may continue to store your information after you cease use of the service or disable your account. Vaultside uses commercially reasonable efforts and standard technology to store and help prevent against the unauthorized disclosure of your PII. Though it undertakes commercially reasonable efforts to protect your PII, no Website is completely safe. Accordingly, you provide all such PII at your own risk.
5. Vaultside may share your PII with third parties in the following circumstances:
1) Where Vaultside is complying or in good faith attempting to comply with any law, regulation or law enforcement request;
2) Where Vaultside has obtained your consent;
3) Where sharing or disclosure of your PII is necessary to provide you with the Services associated therewith;
4) Where sharing or disclosure of your PII is necessary to share PII with Vaultside’s parents, subsidiaries, successors, assigns, licensees, affiliates, or business partners;
5) Where Vaultside has been purchased by a third party;
6) Where sharing or disclosure of your PII is necessary to respond to requests by government authorities;
7) Where your PII is demanded by a court order or subpoena;
8) Where sharing or disclosure of your PII is needed to protect the employees, independent contractors, officers, directors, members, users, or shareholders of Vaultside; and
9) Where sharing or disclosure of your PII is needed to help prevent against fraud or the violation of any applicable law, statute, regulation, ordinance, or treaty.
You understand and agree that Vaultside may specifically share your information with mobile service providers, search engine providers, payment processors, web merchants, and online retailers in order to complete the Services. Vaultside does not permit the use of its Public Records data and associated content to compile mailing lists or consumer marketing data.
In addition, Vaultside does not disclose any information or data through its Services that is are available in the Public Records.
6. Purchase or sale of the Services or other assets:
Vaultside may purchase other businesses or sell components of its business, including, but not limited to, the Services. In the event Vaultside purchases another business or sells any component of its business, your PII will continue to be used consistent with the terms of this Privacy Policy.
7. You may stop Vaultside from collecting your PII by:
Adjusting your web browser settings, limiting cookies or other tracking techniques, deleting your account, or by ceasing your use of the Services. You may contact Vaultside with any requests regarding your information, but Vaultside reserves the right to act or not act upon such requests.You may contact Vaultside with any requests regarding your information, including requests to correct inaccuracies, by writing to us or emailing us at the addresses below. Vaultside reserves the right to act or not act upon such requests. You may also opt out of receiving certain email communications by writing to Vaultside or emailing us at the addresses below or by following an Opt-Out link provided in any such communication.
8. When using the Services, you are obligated to:
Inform Vaultside of any changes to your information, and protect the security of your username, password, and information.
9. California Residents
California residents have the right to receive information that identifies any third party companies or individuals that Vaultside has shared your PII with in the previous calendar year, as well as a description of the categories of PII disclosed to that third party. You may obtain this information once a year and free of charge by contacting Vaultside at the address below.
Vaultside ignores any and all Do Not Track requests and signals.
10. Children’s Online Privacy Protection Policy
The Services are not intended for or directed to users under the age of 18, and Vaultside does not knowingly or intentionally collect PII from children under the age of 13 or other minors. Where appropriate, Vaultside takes reasonable measures to determine that users are adults of legal age and to inform minors not to submit such information to the Website or in response to advertisements. If you are concerned that PII may have been inadvertently provided to or collected by Vaultside, please contact us immediately so appropriate steps may be taken to remove such information from Vaultside’s database.
11. Third party services and third party links
Vaultside may outsource or subcontract some of our technical support, tracking and reporting functions, payment processing functions, and other services to third parties. We may share information from or about you with them so that they can perform their services as long as they comply with this Privacy Policy.
You understand and agree that Vaultside will not be held responsible for any third party communications sent by entities that Vaultside does not own or control or for any third party links (including advertisements). You are encouraged to review any third party privacy policies before utilizing any such third party service. Vaultside may include or offer third party products or services on the Website or the Vault and provide third party links to the same. These third party websites have separate and independent privacy policies. Vaultside has no responsibility or liability for the content and activities of such third parties and their websites. We encourage you to read carefully the privacy policies of all such third party websites. We seek to protect the integrity of the Services and therefore welcome any feedback about any such third party websites.
